Nurturing, Diverse Teachers & Small Classes Mean Comfort & Attention
Your child feels at home with caring, diverse teachers that understand their culture. Your little learner receives respect and personalized learning in classes that stay under state ratios to ensure everyone gets the attention they deserve to help them thrive.
Well-Equipped Classrooms That Encourage Exploration
At Gold Star Academy, our classrooms are thoughtfully designed and fully stocked with engaging learning materials, hands-on toys, and age-appropriate resources that spark curiosity and support lifelong learning. Children enjoy comfortable, kid-friendly furnishings and inviting spaces that encourage both movement and focused exploration as they grow physically, socially, and academically. Through grant-funded programs, we’re also able to bring in high-quality instructional materials that are intentionally taught in the classroom and then sent home, helping families extend learning beyond the classroom and stay actively involved in their child’s development.
Epic Daily Outdoor Play on Custom-Built Playgrounds
At Gold Star Academy, little explorers enjoy daily outdoor adventures on safe, custom-built playgrounds designed specifically for each age group. Children run, climb, and play alongside their friends while building gross motor skills, strengthening large muscle groups, and gaining confidence through active, joyful movement in a secure and engaging outdoor environment.
Farm-To-Preschool Pilot Program Teaches Gardening & Food Science
Being a New Mexico Farm-to-Preschool pilot site means your child learns about food while tending awesome onsite veggie gardens and fruit trees. They bring home fresh produce and recipe cards so the whole family can enjoy their harvest.
An Executive Chef Serves Up Fresh Meals At No Extra Cost
Not all the fresh fruits and vegetables go home! Chef Ryan uses them for fresh, healthy, allergy-conscious breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. Supplemented with ingredients from other nearby growers, your child eats local every day at no cost to you.
Field Trips & Visitors Bring the Community Closer
At Gold Star Academy, children look forward to exciting field trip days and special guest visitors that bring learning to life. From off-campus adventures like visits to Townsend Farms to in-house experiences with community helpers such as the Fire Department, children engage in fun, hands-on opportunities that help them better understand the world around them and build meaningful connections within their community.
Stay Connected with the All-Inclusive Procare® App
At Gold Star Academy, we make it easy for you to stay connected to your child’s day through the Procare® app. Teachers regularly share photos, videos, daily updates, classroom notes, and important announcements, giving you real-time insight into your infant’s experiences, milestones, and activities so you never miss a special moment.

What Are Your Cleaning & Sanitization Protocols?
The health and safety of our children, families, and staff are always a top priority at Gold Star Academy. Our team follows strict daily cleaning and sanitization procedures to maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment throughout our schools.
Classrooms, bathrooms, common areas, toys, learning materials, and all high-touch surfaces are cleaned and sanitized multiple times throughout the day using childcare-approved cleaning products. Staff members closely follow state licensing regulations and health guidelines to help reduce the spread of germs and illness.
In addition to daily deep cleaning routines, we emphasize proper handwashing practices, maintain organized and hygienic classroom environments, and regularly sanitize shared spaces and equipment. Our goal is to provide families with peace of mind knowing their children are learning and growing in a clean, safe, and well-cared-for environment every day.
What Security & Safety Measures Are in Place?
At Gold Star Academy, creating a safe and secure environment for every child is one of our highest priorities. Our schools are designed with multiple layers of safety and security measures to help provide families with peace of mind each day.
All centers feature restricted-access entrances that require uniquely assigned codes to help ensure only authorized individuals may enter the building. Security cameras are utilized throughout the facility for internal monitoring, and our playgrounds are fully enclosed with secure fencing designed to provide safe outdoor play spaces for every age group.
In addition, all staff members are thoroughly screened and trained in emergency procedures, including CPR and First Aid certification. Our team regularly practices safety protocols and maintains close supervision of children at all times. We also follow strict check-in and check-out procedures to ensure every child is safely accounted for throughout the day.
From secure facilities to highly trained staff, we are committed to maintaining a safe, nurturing, and protected environment where children can learn, play, and thrive with confidence.
